TRAJTESË FILOZOFIKO RELIGJIOZE MBI DËSHIRAT (NEVOJAT) E SHPIRTIT NJERËZOR

Koncepti i shpirtit është objekt i kërkimeve të shkencëtarëve për shekuj me radhë. Ata kanë tentuar të gjejnë lidhjen ndërmjet trurit, mendjes dhe vetëdijes.
Në shumë tradita fetare, filozofike dhe mitologjike, shpirti është thelbi i një qenieje të gjallë. Në varësi të sistemit filozofik, një shpirt mund të jetë i vdekshëm ose i pavdekshëm. Në këndvështrimin fetar, vetëm qeniet njerëzore kanë shpirtra të pavdekshëm, e që patjetër që kanë edhe ata dëshirat (nevojat) e tyre.
Diçka e fuqishme që e vë në lëvizje dhe e kontrollon njeriun, përveç përbërjes materiale prej së cilës ai përbëhet, fetarisht nuk mund t’i japim kësaj fuqie asnjë emërtim, përpos shpirt. Esenca e shpirtit të njeriut nuk duhet të jetë pohim për ndonjë pjesë të trupit të njeriut, porse është ndryshe nga trupi, që ashtu si trupi ka nevojat edhe dëshirat e veta, por të ndryshme nga trupi.
