Distalizimi në rastet klinike nëpërmjet aparateve me minivida

Abstract

Distalizimi është një metodë konservative që përdoret në ortodonci për të fituar hapësirë duke lëvizur dhëmbët e pasmë distalisht. Mund të kombinohet me strategji të tjera të fitimit të hapësirës, si zgjerimi, ose mund të përdoret vetëm. Shumë metoda janë përdorur për distalizim. Këto metoda ndryshojnë ndjeshëm në vendin e tyre, qofshin ato ekstraorale ose intraorale, vendi i veprimit në harkun e sipërm dhe/ose të poshtëm dhe bashkëpunimi i nevojshëm nga pacienti nëse është i lëvizshëm ose i fiksuar (Maino, 2016). Tërheqja ekstraorale mund të aplikohet në harkun e sipërm në lidhje me pajisje të fiksuara ose të lëvizshme, por objektivi në të gjitha rastet është lëvizja e molarëve të sipërm distalisht për të siguruar hapësirë për rreshtimin korrekt te dhembeve (Rakosi, 1991). Megjithatë, ortodontët e sotëm kanë fatin të kenë më shumë teknika dhe aparatura intraorale në duart e tyre për të fituar hapësirë, pra duke distalizuar molarët.
