May-june 1919 uprising in Kosova against Serbia and Montenegro

Abstract

The issue of Albanian-Serbian wars has never been entirely and justly enlightened. Therefore, due to the current national interest on the issue, there is an immediate need, scientific first of all, to approach the problem based on archive sources and present it generally as the most daring and glorious part of the history of our people that resisted and sacrificed in war against Serb invader. The Albanian people of Kosova suffered many misfortunes and as a consequence it had enough. The borders of Kosova were violated for many times. The number one cause to the national tragedy of Albanians of Kosova was Serb-Slavism. While Albanians of Kosova tried to create an Albania in its true borders, the aim of Serbia was to eradicate the idea of national liberation and unification of the Albanian people.
