The organization and activity of Albanian National Democratic movement in Anamorava (1945-1947)

Abstract

 Recent history of Eastern Kosova, in particular of Anamorava, as a part of Albanian history in general, passed through very difficult periods of trials. Therefore, it’s important to accentuate that after the so called “liberation” of Gjilan and Ferizaj on November 16 - 17, 1944, begins developing a new phase of popular revolt against the new “peoples” rule. From this point on, starts armed resistance of Albanians against establishment of partisan regime. With introduction of Albanian National Democratic Movement (LNDSH) and its committee begins a new chapter in the Movement for National Liberation and Unification, efforts for creating a new Albanian state within ethnic lands, and not a great or small Albania, but a normal country on its historical and ethnical borders.
