It is important to bear in mind that isolating prisoners boosts to the development of a range of psychological problems that cause a person suff ering and stress. These psychological issues are required to be recognized by prison staff in order to know how to intervene and provide assistance in case of an emergency and to facilitate the process of adaptation of the convicts with his new state.
