Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-tocomputer interaction. The next big step in the technology space is the Internet of Things (IoT). You do not need to look too far to see why, as the present market, as well as in the near future, will be taken over by the Internet of things both in your home and your business. The aim of the present paper is to introduce the evolution of the internet of things up to the present day and to show the predictions, trends and the market for the future.
