If we consider the current state of the information and communication technology (ICT) development in Albania, our country’s transition to an information society is indeed a challenge. The national infrastructure of information and communication technology is the main pillar of an Information Society. In its wider sense, it includes telecommunications, cable, wireless, satellite, computer networks, broadcasting and switching systems, digital television, a wide range of terminal equipment, as well as computer programs and applications, databases electronics and digital libraries. Keywords:
