Purpura thrombocitopenike idiopatike në tuberkuloz

Tuberkulozi (TB) është një sëmundje ngjitëse si në vendet në zhvillim ashtu edhe në ato të zhvilluara. Incidenca është në rritje për shkak të bacileve rezistente ndaj shumë barnave dhe virusit të deficitit imunitar human (HIV). Që nga viti 2012, India ka incidencën më të lartë të sëmundjes me rreth 2.2 milionë raste, që përbën 26% të incidencës globale sipas statistikave të Organizatës Botërore të Shëndetësisë. Një spektër i gjerë manifestimesh hematologjike është vërejtur në TB, ku trombocitopenia është e zakonshme në TB miliare dhe trombocitoza në TB pulmonare.Purpura trombocitopenike imune (ITP) karakterizohet nga një numër i ulët i trombociteve i shoqëruar me praninë e autoantitrupave të trombociteve. Lidhja e purpurës trombocitopenike imune dhe tuberkulozit është një gjendje e rrallë. Në rastin e paraqitur , terapia kundër tuberkulozit ishte efektive si për tuberkulozin ashtu edhe për trombocitopeninë, duke sugjeruar një lidhje shkakësore midis tuberkulozit dhe purpurës trombocitopenike imune.Parole chiave:
