Abstract

Agron Tufa is among those authors who has contributed a lot to contemporary Albanian literature. He has used in his works different and special narrative techniques, especially in the element of time. The timing of a literary work is quite significant. It is the catalyst where events operate and are told. All the events shown, the mental-psychological-real proceedings that took place in the work are realized through time. Time is the quintessence during the analysis of a literary work, in the decomposition of the artistic, symbol, or language of artistic fiction. The temporal analysis of the novel helps us a lot in deciphering and understanding it.
Through Tufa’s work techniques stands out an author with a unique style whose effort in this field put in comparison the Albanian novels with foreign ones. Therefore, we dare to say that Agron Tufa is one of the most vocal authors and that has brought many innovations in Albanian literature.
A very important conclusion of this paper is the topic that Tufa has brought and the way he has treated it. Specifically, in the works we have taken in the study, “Duel” and “Fabula Rasa” simple topics of reality are treated. Through time, action and events are treated as a common occurrence as it happens in everyday life.
The description of high school life, first love experience, disasters such as rape, marriage (in “Duel”), suicide by a physiological phenomenon of the bride (“Fabula Rasa”) are life phenomena, part of reality.
These events, artistically, through analepsia and prolapse gain artistic and symbolic colors, so we say that Tufa is one of the most important authors of our contemporary literature.
