Abstract

This study includes two articles from the field of Albanian ethnochoreography (folkloristic) and one from ethnology. Each of them is separate as regards to the issue it covers.
The first article: “Two dimensions of the Albanian ethnochoreography", through improvisation and individuality, analyses features of a theoretical character from the Albanian folk dance.
The second article “Tradition and evolution in the Kosova’s “Sheh” macro dance", through some considerations on the dance’s tradition and on one of its evolved variants, highlights the folk choreography of Kosova.
The third article”: “Marriage’s rites of Arbëreshes” is motivated by the 2nd Euro-Mediterranean Festival of Arbëresh Music and Dance in Stringler, Italy, 5-9 August 2003, held by the Centre for Study and Research in Arbëresh Folk Traditions. The author points out that a celebrating atmosphere surrounded this activity. The subject analyzed through a combination of both ethno- folklore and ethnologic elements (of course, it deals with the Arbëresh dance as well), brings us to the world of the Arbëreshes in Italy.
In a more general view, the messages of these articles bring evidence on the character of the pan national ethnicity in the field of the popular culture.
