Murdered messengers

Abstract

Even during WW2, Albanians were on the right side of the history. While being occupied and slaughtered, it stood still and counter reacted in the mane of freedom experiencing meanwhile a brutality towards itself.
On the eve of liberation Albanians from defeated ended up on the side of winners. Fortunately, at that time it has a lot of idealists who loves their country dearly, fought for it in order to made it more prosperous and opened towards western world. Poets, scholars, teachers, journalists, politicians etc., who were educated on big western European cities, missionaries of reresection of the nation, were in fact messengers culture and soul of Europe. Strange enough, like a curse, they were all killed.
I have always dreamed of an anthology with poetry, prose, diaries, of those who were murdered. A silent cry suddenly gushed from within and it seems like I can hear sound of a battle ground, stabbing on the back, dragging, bone breaking, strangling, prison cells iron bar noises, echos of a firing squad.
Later on... as a kind of continuity of those missing creativity pieces gathered up and down, worm blood of their authors was dripping. Art like anything else had to fit in the new regime. Meanwhile the doctrine of rulings wasn’t ever finished by its foundations leading to misunderstandings from those who implemented.
Particularly Albanians, who had at their core incentive the war of classes in another words a civil war at peace time, transformed onto a daily permanent hate. Further more, where the solution was not found, elimination came into place, accepted as an achievement.
New rulers were ruthlessly easy to continue with the new human on the new world with new art as well. If humans and the world have always been and are either old or new but they recreate endlessly itself with the past times as well as the present. World and the mankind! Why so natural, empowering a solid existence etc. facing the present through conflict etc. and the art which is a different world within our world, another reality, which definitely is affected from reality and has an impact on it.
Those who wanted a normal Albania, with a normal life style, open towards wester Europe and the civilized world, while preserving its identity. Also those who valued the experiences with the east which became vital part of our lives, and raised their voices too for the country to look Westwood, once lost from five centuries Ottoman occupation and now unjustly separating itself from it, were punished, and as poets they were murdered.
