About the Master Piece: “Lecture of Psychology” of Scholar Pajazit Nushi

Abstract

Pajazit Nushi was and still is one of most distinguished personalities of psychology and pedagogy science everywhere among Albanians. He was a psychology teacher at high school and later on became professor and researcher on three main directions: *teaching activities, publishing, science and academic life at former Yugoslavia, mainly in Kosova until 1980. After the student movement he was fired from his job by Serb authorities and worked part time professor at state University. *social life, being Chairman of commission for Punishment of Milosevic crimes. He also directed Human Rights committee after liberation of Kosova. Member and vice chairman of Academy of Science of Kosova. Former professor of Psychology at Pristina, Tirana and Tetovo University. At the end of his life he became Rector at a private University in Pristina. He is one of establishers of Academy of Science of Education for all Albanians based in Tirana. He was elected vice chairman of this Academy and was very active there until he passed away. Professor Pajaziti is the founder of psychological organisms in Kosova. Some of his books include: “Psychological basis of speaking culture at primary school pupils”, “Vocabulary of Psychology”, “How can pupils learn”, “Memory and its treatment on Albanian Language”, “Intelligence and development of it at grownups”. “General Psychology, Volume I & II”. Finally he published his master piece “Lecture of Psychology” in two volumes consisting on 1200 pages. It is a further development of his previous psychology publications, very valuable for students, professors and researchers of social sciences. It is considered as a book of special importance at the field of psychology and pedagogy.
