Abstract

This paper demonstrates how Russia knew that Albania included, except for the today’s Albania, also the parts taken from Montenegro, Kosovo, Western Macedonia and all Epirus. It should be noted that the greatest enemy of Albania in those days was the Russian state.
We are providing an interview of the Russian Foreign Minister, on January 9, 1915, given to the correspondent of Corriere della sera in Petersburg. For the conquest of Vlora by Italians, the Russian foreign minister said so: “Why does the Italian flag fly alongside the Albanian flag? For us there exists no Albanian state. Albania died before it lived. It was a period of illusory creature, which I had well envisioned. I knew no living elements of a state of legendary Albanian chaos, since it can nothing derive from it, and today, after this, we can not understand how Italy requires again and admits its flag to be hoisted near another flag that is a symbol of political anarchy”.
The lightning and deadly words of the Russian Minister are definitely for Albania and for every Albanian knives in their lungs and heart.
The defender of Albania was undoubtedly Austria and about Austria Konica said these lapidary words: “If it was not Austria, Slavs and Greeks would have taken Albania within 24 hours, because our enemies have a regular army, skillful and armed officers; we have only separate braves, we have no strength at all as a nation, because we do not have unity, we do not have enough weapons, we do not have people to run the war. It is the fear of Austria that holds our enemies back, those who do not understand this are donkeys “.
